As the first store to have discovered & imported GRAPAT toys to Cyprus, we as Meraki Moraki decided to share some of the magic behind this brand.
Grapat is a brand that celebrates the autonomy & imagination of your child.
Being present, and offering daily objects can unlock a world of play. They have expanded on the concept by creating enticing sets & objects made from wood, which would last generations inviting children into a universe of OPEN ENDED FREE PLAY.
Handpainted and made in a european factory these toys are unmatched and toys children cannot get bored of, because every single time, they will present a new desire and game to be unlocked.
Recommended for 12+ months. Nins® measure 6cm in height. Grapat toys are hand made using natural wood and water based stain. Colours and wood grains vary as does life itself. Over time wood can wear with play.
"Perfect size for a baby and older children alike! These nins are so well-loved and rarely are they not left out when we rotate toys. They are so versatile and because they are plain, they do encourage our little one's imagination! That said, they are beautiful colours and are withstanding the enthusiastic play of a 3 year old!" - Daniella H
This Grapat peg people toy set includes 12 wooden Nins®, making up the colours of the rainbow.
Immerse yourself in the colourful world of the Nins®, classic wooden peg dolls from Grapat.
These simple and beautiful peg dolls can be used to create miniature worlds limited only by children's imaginations. Nins have no gender or mood so this is all created by your child allowing them the freedom to play as they wish.
As well as characters they can form pieces in a puzzle, counting tools, help with language development and for sensory play too. Peg dolls are a popular Waldorf toy for open-ended play, story telling and creating small world scenes.
These Grapat Nins are beautifully crafted and stained with wonderful rainbow colours. Team up with Grapat rings, coins and mates (cups) for sorting and matching fun.
It includes textile bag with GOT Certificate fabric.
The 12 Nins can be used for symbolic play, to create stories and small worlds.
However, combined with other elements, they can be part of mathematical, language and sensorial games, among others.
Moreover, this material is not structured, which allows for it to be used in a broad number of ways.
This way, it’s the children who can develop their own stories and it’s them who decide which character they are going to play with (a pirate, a vampire…)
