Carry your baby on your belly or back with the Mei tai. Outdoors or just cozy indoors?
The breathable fabric is suitable for all situations (and is incredibly soft for your child's skin). The side edge of the back has extra padding for even more comfort and support for your child. You easily adjust your child's neck support with the strings.
The hat provides protection from sun, rain and wind. The extra thickening along the edge is super soft for the hollows of your child's knees. And we thought of you, too!
The Mei tai has extra-wide shoulder straps that form all over the shoulders - not on the shoulders or neck - distributing the weight to the entire back. Result? No neck pain while carrying.
Very nice. The baby carrier also features a comfortable, adjustable waist belt with soft padding for extra carrying comfort.
This is how to use the Mei tai Baby Carrier
No fumbling with the long yards of fabric of a baby carrier: the Mei tai is easy to use. You simply click the buckle on the waist belt and tie the shoulder straps. The simple system makes it easy to put your child in the carrier.
Good to know
- The Mei tai baby carrier is suitable from birth to a maximum of 20 kilos. Thanks to the extra wide shoulder straps, the Mei tai baby carrier prevents neck pain in the carrier.
- Depending on your screen resolution, the actual color of the fabric may vary slightly from the color on your screen.
- The total circumference of the Mei tai waist belt is 150 cm. A larger circumference is available upon request.

The Mei Tai Baby Carrier in taupe is a timeless classic that exudes tranquility, softness and sophistication. This warm earthy hue effortlessly matches any outfit as well as any season. Whether you love a minimalist style or prefer natural, earthy colors, taupe is a versatile and stylish choice that is always right.
This variant is part of our Uni collection and made of 100% hydrophilic cotton. This means: super soft, breathable and wonderfully light. The fabric moulds flexibly to your and your baby's body, providing optimal support - from the very first day. This baby carrier is even suitable for premature babies. You carry ergonomically and safely up to a weight of 20 kg, which corresponds to an age of about 4 to 5 years.
The thoughtful design automatically puts your baby in the correct M position (also known as the frog position), where the knees are higher than the buttocks and the back maintains a natural curve. This position promotes hip development and ensures your baby's relaxed posture.
At the same time, the baby carrier also ensures carrying comfort for you as a parent. The wide, soft shoulder straps distribute your child's weight evenly across your back without putting pressure on your neck. The sturdy waist belt easily snaps on with a buckle and is fully adjustable - suitable for all body types. The pocket in the waist belt can hold small items such as keys, a pacifier or your phone.
The Mei Tai Uni is ideal for everyday use, both indoors and outdoors. Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy to wear under a jacket or vest, and easy to carry in your diaper bag. This baby carrier is also perfect for parents with multiple children: carry your newborn close to you while your toddler roams freely. It gives peace of mind, structure and freedom of movement all in one.
The taupe-colored fabric is stylish, subtle and stain-friendly. A practical choice for intensive use, without compromising on softness or appearance. The carrier is machine washable at 30 degrees, making maintenance easy.
Customers praise this version: "Soft, breathable and SO comfortable!", "My baby falls asleep as soon as he is in this baby carrier", and "I rarely get neck or back pain thanks to the wide shoulder straps."
The Mei Tai Baby Carrier Uni - Taupe is a conscious and stylish choice for parents who want to carry their baby lovingly, without compromising on comfort, simplicity or appearance.
